The Sunday Reset: Why Doing Less Is the Ultimate Luxury

We live in a culture that treats busyness as a status symbol. If you are not busy, you are not trying hard enough. If you are not stressed, you are not ambitious. It is exhausting. And it is also completely made up.

Redefining Luxury

True luxury is not a fancy car or a designer bag. True luxury is having control over your own time. It is being able to say no to a meeting, to leave work at 5 PM, to spend a Tuesday afternoon reading a book without feeling guilty.

The Sunday Reset

Part of doing less is planning for it. Every Sunday, I look at my week ahead and identify three things that I can delegate, delay, or delete. Most weeks, I find at least five. The result is a week that feels manageable rather than packed.

What Happens When You Stop Performing Busy

When you stop broadcasting how busy you are, something interesting happens: people stop expecting you to be available 24/7. You create space for the things that actually matter.

Bottom line: Doing less is not laziness. It is strategy. Protect your time the same way you would protect your bank account. It is your most valuable resource.
